Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications for the posts of Assistant Geophysicist and other interested candidates under UPSC Recruitment 2022. Assistant Chemist Assistant Chemist

 As per 7th CPC- Level-8 (Rs.47600-151100/-) in Pay Matrix (Pre-revised Rs.9,300-34,800/- (PB-2) PLUS Rs.4800 (Grade Pay)) (Total Emoluments TA & Initial Appointment) HRA at the time of Rs.47,600/- and applicable DA per month will be approx.)

Age is not more than 30 years for General Category and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates as on last date. Not exceeding 33 years for OBC candidates, 35 years for SC and ST candidates as on the normal closing date in respect of vacancies reserved for them.

Regularly appointed Central/UT Government servants up to five years in accordance with the directions or orders issued by the Central Government from time to time. Must possess Master's degree in any branch of Chemistry

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Technology from any recognized University or Institute.

Degree or Diploma in Chemistry awarded by Associate Institute of Chemists (India).

Note 1: Candidates who were enrolled for Associate Institute of Chemist (India) as on 31.05.2013 are only eligible to be considered for the post of Assistant Chemist by direct recruitment and those candidates who have enrolled for Associate Institute of Chemist (India) on 01.06. Enrolled on or after 2013. Chemist (India) are not eligible for consideration for the post of Assistant Chemist (Direct Recruitment)

Note 2: In the case of candidates otherwise well qualified, the qualification may be relaxed at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing.

Assistant Geophysicist

Pay Scale As per 7th CPC- Level-8 (Rs 47600-151100/-) Pre-revised in Pay Matrix Rs. 9,300-34,800/- (PB-2) plus Rs. 4800 (Grade Pay) (Total emoluments excluding TA and HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs 47,600/- per month as applicable DA.)

Assistant Director (Scientific C)

Pay Scale of Pay Matrix Pay Level-11 (67700-208700) under CCS(RP) Rules, 2016. and HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs.67,700/- per month as applicable DA

Age not exceeding 40 years as on normal closing date. Relaxation for regularly appointed Central / UT Govt. Servants up to 5 years as per the instructions/orders issued by the Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification(s) A Educational- (I) Master's degree in Botany or Zoology or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Biotechnology or Molecular Biology or Forensic Science or Physical Anthropology or Genetics from a recognized University or Institute and

(II) Bachelor's degree with Botany or Zoology as one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute.

Note - Qualification is relaxable at the discretion of UPSC for reasons to be recorded in writing in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

B. Experience:- Five years experience in Analytical/Research work in Forensic Science.

The major nature of duties include visiting crime scene, investigating crime performance, appearing in court of law as an expert, taking active part in research and development, providing training to various investigative agencies and other administrative functions. Is. It is necessary for the up-gradation of FSL and for the tasks assigned by the higher authorities.

Senior Scientific Officer (Scientific B)

Pay Scale of Pay Matrix Pay Level-10 (56100-177500) under CCS (RP) Rules, 2016. Total emoluments excluding TA. and HRA Rs.56100/- plus DA per month as applicable at the time of initial appointment

Age should not be more than 35 years as on normal closing date. Relaxation for regularly appointed Central / UT Govt. Servants up to 5 years as per the instructions/orders issued by the Govt. of India from time to time.
