The central government has now introduced LED bulbs as well as LED tube lights and ceiling fans under the Ujala Yojana 2022. People can order a minimum of 50 pieces of LED bulbs apart from ceiling fans and tube lights. Accordingly, people will have to place orders in multiples of 50 for LED bulbs, 20 for tube lights and 4 for fans through the CSC Digital Seva Portal. Ujala Yojana 2022 Cost of Equipment :-

• The Ujala instrument can be purchased for Rs. 70 per LED bulb, Rs. 220 per LED tube light, and Rs. 1110 per fan. The price of the instrument includes the components such as bulb price, distribution and consensus cost, which are ascertained through emulator bidding, annual subkey cost (AMC), cost of capital and administrative cost.

• Complaints during distribution can be addressed to the customer care center number of our distribution agency which is publicized in our advertising and awareness campaign. EESL has ensured that a toll-free helpline number relating to the manufacturer is printed on the UJALA LED bulb box as well as the consent deed (payment receipt). Once the term of distribution is over, users can contact the respective manufacturer through these helpline numbers and ask for an alternator to the bulb. The concerned manufacturer will take the consumer to the nearest retail outlet, where the bulbs with technical faults can be replaced.
