Physical Efficiency Test will be of 40 marks. There will be 2 (two) programmers.
1600 meters race for male candidates and 800 meters race for female candidates.
Long Jump – 335 cm (minimum) for male and 244 cm (minimum) for female, 3 chances (longest valid jump will be considered).
Male candidates –
Race: Those who qualify in PST will have to appear in 1600 meters race to be
Completed within 450 seconds. The maximum qualifying time is 450 seconds.
Long Jump: Minimum 335 cm for long jump (given 3 chances and valid jump will be rounded off to the nearest cm for longest jump).
Female Candidates –
Race: Those who qualify in PST will have to appear in 800 meters race
Completed within 240 seconds. Maximum qualifying time -240 sec.
Long Jump: Minimum 244 cms for long jump (given 3 chances and longest
Valid jumps will be rounded off to the nearest cm for awarding points).
As discussed earlier, you have to prepare for the written exam as per the syllabus. There are five subjects from which questions will be asked in the written exam. You have to prepare various important topics from these subjects to score the qualifying marks in this exam.

In this recruitment candidates will be selected based on the following stages:-
Let us tell you that 36 Havildar, 222 Excise Constable and 265 Jail Warder posts are to be filled through this recruitment drive. SLPRB has notified that the PET for these posts will consist of 1,600 meters race for male candidates and 800 meters race for female candidates. Candidates applying for more than one post will have to appear for PET only once for all the posts. The PET and PST for all the posts will be conducted from 1st March and the venue will also be informed to the candidates through the admit card. Candidates are advised to visit SLPRB website regularly for more updates regarding these posts.
