The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act 2009 has come into force in Rajasthan from 1 April 2010. Online applications have been started in the Elementary Education Department for admission to 25% seats in private schools free of cost under RTE. Under Rajasthan RTE, students are given free admission on 25% seats in private and private schools. In this, the student studies free of cost from primary or first grade to eighth grade. He does not have to pay school fees. The Chief Minister of Rajasthan Shri Ashok Gehlot has recently increased the scope of RTE from 8th class to 12th class.

There are 3 classes operated in Pre Primary class, these include PP 3 Plus, PP 4 Plus and PP 5 Plus. In this way, candidates can apply online for admission in all the three primary classes and first class. In this way, more application forms will be submitted due to applications in 4 classes. Private schools cannot reject any application.

• Pre Primary 3 Plus: 3 years or more but less than 4 years.
• Pre Primary 4 Plus: 3 years 6 months or more but less than 5 years.
• Pre Primary 5 Plus: 4 years 6 months or more but less than 6 years.
• First Class: More than 5 years but less than 7 years

• Students whose parents' annual income should be Rs 2.50 lakh or less.
• The child should belong to weaker section or disadvantaged group.
• Scheduled caste, scheduled tribe child, orphan child, disabled child

• Backward class or special backward class children whose parents' annual income is Rs 2.5 lakh or less.
