Rajasthan Palanhar Yojana is a scheme run for the orphan children of the state. Rajasthan Government has started Rajasthan Palanhar Yojana 2023 to ensure that there is no shortage in the upbringing and education of orphan children of Rajasthan.

Under this scheme, complete financial assistance is provided to orphan children. Those children are included in Rajasthan Palanhar Yojana. Whose parents are disabled or whose parents are not in this world. In such a situation, the government gives money to those children every month. Rajasthan Palanhar Yojana was implemented in Rajasthan on 08-02-2005.

This scheme was initially run for the orphan children of scheduled caste. But later the Palanhar scheme was implemented for all categories. Presently this scheme is applicable for all the people, so that all the orphans and helpless children can get maximum benefits under the Palanhar Yojana.

Rajasthan Palanhar Yojana 2023 Objective

Instead of institutionalizing the arrangements for the upbringing, education etc. of orphan children, education, food, education in a family environment on behalf of the state by making a person willing to do so within the society, in the family of the closest relative/acquaintance of the boys and girls.

Clothes and other necessary facilities have to be made available. In this way, this scheme run by the state government is unique in the whole of India.

• Orphan children
• Death sentence/life imprisonment if one of the parents or both the parents is dead and the other is sentenced to death or life imprisonment
• Three children of destitute widow mother eligible for pension
• Children of HIV/AIDS affected parents
• children of remarried widowed mother
• Children of parents suffering from leprosy
• cousin's three children
• Children of divorced/abandoned women
• Children of specially abled parents

Palanhar scheme 2023 benefits

• For children in the age group of 0-6 – Rs 1500 per month (compulsory to go to Anganwadi)
• For child in the age group of 6-18 – Rs 2500 per month (compulsory to attend school)
• For clothes, sweaters, shoes etc. – Rs 2000 annual additional lump sum payable (not payable in widow foster and maternal relatives)
• Rajasthan Palanhar Scheme 2023 Conditions
• The annual income of the foster family should not exceed Rs.1.20 lakh.
• The maximum age of the child should be less than 18 years.
• Parents and children must have been living in the state of Rajasthan for a period of at least 3 years from the date of application.

Rajasthan Palanhar Yojana 2023 Required Documents

• Death certificate of parents in case of orphan children.
• Copy of sentence in case of children of parents punished by judicial sentence.
• Social Security Pension Payment Order (P.P.O. Order) in the case of children of widowed mother eligible for destitute pension.
• In case of children of remarried widowed mother, copy of the certificate of remarriage of widowed mother.
• Copy of the medical certificate issued by the competent board in the case of children of parents suffering from leprosy.
• In the case of the children of the mother who is not related, the certificate that the mother has been related for more than one year.
• ART in case of children of HIV/AIDS affected parents. ARD issued by the Center Copy of the diary (Green Diary).
• Copy of certificate of 40% or more disability issued by competent board in case of children of specially abled parents.
• Social Security Pension Payment Order (PPO Order) in case of children of divorced/abandoned woman.

• Palanhar's Bhamashah number (EID/UID Number).
• Child's Aadhaar Card (UID Number).
• Income Certificate (Annual income should not exceed Rs. 1.20 Lakh.
• Parent's original residence certificate / ration card / voter ID card copy.
• Social security pension order will be sufficient for widow/divorcee/abandoned women.
• Certificate for taking care of orphan children.
• Registration at Anganwadi center / certificate of studying in school.
