This GIS Architect designation was created to make use of advanced knowledge and skills in computer systems, networks and GIS technologies to help with the design, construction and maintenance of land management systems. The post will also perform system monitoring and tuning related tasks to ensure adequate availability and performance of GIS servers and services.

The position will be required to document procedures for system creation, monitoring, troubleshooting and routine maintenance. Must work with other teams in IT and GIS units to coordinate the planning, development and implementation of any GIS systems and processes.
