IOCL Security Chief Recruitment 2023 – Eligibility

The incumbent must have retired from Police Services from the State of Gujarat (for posting at Rajkot, Koyli and Viramgam) / Rajasthan State (for posting at Sendra) with the rank of DIG or equivalent from DYSP in the Central and State Governments. The incumbent should have a clean service record and fitness of high order. Preference will be given to the candidates having legal background, experience of working in Intelligence/crime control and investigation matters/petroleum sector/pipeline industry

IOCL Security Chief Recruitment 2023 – Roles and Responsibilities –

1. Formulation of strategy for overall protection of pipelines entrusted to him.

2. Attending Site Security Coordinating Committee meetings. in order to provide

Monthly intelligence input to regional management regarding public vulnerability levels

To optimize interventions for simultaneous management of ROW including construction areas

Public support.

3. Liaison with local police etc. for assistance in case of emergency including but not limited to leakage/burst/sabotage.

4. To advise on deployment of guards in the overall interest of IOCL.

5. Detection and implementation of character and antecedent verification process

Contract laborers and other personnel have been deployed for the security of the pipeline.

6. Attending and participating in all emergencies and advising and taking corrective measures

Safety mock drill and giving feedback for corrective actions.

7. To assist in arranging meetings with senior police functions at State Headquarters. To

Brief police officers on applicable prevailing laws particularly relating to the Petroleum and Mineral Pipelines (PMP) Act and other relevant Acts.
