The minimum age of the candidate is 18 years and maximum age is 30 years. The age of the candidate will be calculated till 1 July 2022. The maximum age limit for government candidates is 40 years. Age relaxation is being given to the candidates according to the category.

• The selection of skilled artisans will be done from amongst the candidates possessing the essential qualification through a competitive trade test based on the syllabus in the respective trade. Eligible candidates will be informed about the course, date, venue and duration etc. along with the hall permit.

• A certificate in the relevant trade from any technical institute recognized by the Govt. OR 8th Class Passed with One Year Experience in Related Trade.
