The Main Written Examination for the eligible applicants will be held in Bangalore on the 04th and 5th of March 2023. Preliminary exam will be 1½. Duration of Hours (Ninety Minutes) to be conducted through Objective Type Question Paper with Multiple Choice Questions consisting of 100 Marks. The competitive written examination for the recruitment of District Judges will include –
(i) Written examination of two papers of three hours duration carrying a maximum of 150 marks for each paper – one in Civil Law and the other. In Criminal Law.
(ii) It is mandatory for all the candidates to answer at least one paper. It will be optional for IT candidates to answer in English language and as far as other papers are concerned. Preliminary Examination Fee: Candidate will pay an amount. ₹ 500/- (Rupees five hundred only). But, in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST/Category-I, the fee payable will be ₹250/- (Rupees Two). One hundred and fifty only).
Main examination fee will be payable by each successful candidate. Eligible to appear in Preliminary Examination and for Main
immediately within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of declaration of the result of the Preliminary Examination, failing which, their candidature for the Main Examination will not be considered. The candidate will remit an amount of ₹ 1,000/- (Rupees one thousand only). But, in the case of a candidate belonging to SC/ST/Category-I, the fee payable shall be ₹750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty Only).
