To be eligible for appointment, the educational qualification and teaching experience is applicable as per the revised and relevant posts (Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor) as per the “Teacher Eligibility Criteria in Medical Institutions, 2022”. Candidates having specialty of General Medicine, Anesthesia, Respiratory Medicine, General Surgery and Orthopedics with required experience can apply for the posts under the department to set up emergency medicine.
A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule must also satisfy sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1986 (102 of 1956). Doctoral degree in concerned super specialty.
