Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday said that the Desh-Stack e-portal will be launched to empower citizens for skills through online training. In order to gives skills and livelihood opportunities, the Government of India implements many types of schemes from time to time. DESH STACK e-Portal: Boost Skill Development

She said that the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) would be aligned with the necessity of the dynamic industry. Sitharaman declared that 750 virtual laboratories in science and mathematics, as well as 75 skill e-labs for the simulated learning environments, will be set up in 2022-23 to foster critical thinking skills and provide space for creativity.

The industry will be built on a network hub-and-spoke model, with the hub building state-of-the-art ICT expertise. He shared that the country’s best public universities & institutions would collaborate as a network of hubs and spokes. The Finance Minister said that programs and partnerships with industry will be resurrection to promote sustainable skilling avenues, sustainability, and employability.
