The CIPET CAT Entrance Exam 2022 is being conducted by the Central Institute of Petrochemical Engineering and Technology (CIPET) for various Diplomas, Degree courses in Plastics Industry.

10th 12th or graduate pass candidate from any recognized board can get admission in diploma course by participating in CAT ENTRACE EXAM 2022 entrance exam for the purpose of making a career in plastic industry.

12th pass students can take direct admission in second-year diploma course through lateral entry

Diploma course Diploma in Plastic Mold Technology DPMT DPMT and Diploma in Plastic Technology DPT DPT to be conducted by Central Petroleum Engineering and Technical Institute CIPET Directly in the second year through Lateral Entry. On taking admission in the second year in DPMT DPMT or DPT DPT, the duration of the year will remain only 2 years.

To take admission in DPMT DPMT or DPT DPT through lateral entry in class 12th Physics/Mathematics/Chemistry/Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/Biology/Informatics Practice/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subject/Agriculture Engineering/Engineering Graphics/Business Study/ Entrepreneurship is mandatory to have any three of these subjects.

Or

12th pass ITI (General Machinist/Draftsman/Mechanical/Fitting/Plastic/Polymer/Chemical Technology) students can take admission in the second year of the Diploma in Plastic Technology DPT course by lateral entry.

CIPET Syllabus for Graduate or Technical Diploma Holders

Central Petrochemical Institute of Engineering and Technology CIPET For admission to CIPET, B.Sc. 3 year’s degree pass candidates for admission to B.Sc.  That is, B.Sc pass candidates can directly do Post Graduate Diploma PGD PPT PGD-PPT. The duration of this post-graduate diploma course will be 2 years.

Technical Qualification (Diploma in Mechanical/Plastic/Polymer/Tool/Tool & Die Maker/Production/Mechatronics/Automobile/Petrochemical/Industrial Instrumentation/Diploma in Engineering Technology or equivalent qualification to DPMT/DPT Candidates should possess Post Graduate Diploma Post Diploma in Plastics CAN MOLD DESIGN WITH CAD/CAM (PD-PMD WITH CAD/CAM).

The duration of PD-PMD WITH CAD/CAM Post Diploma will be one and a half years.
