• Graduation / Post Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University (recognized / approved by Govt., Government Bodies / AICTE) with Professional Certification in Financial Risk Management from Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), Professional Risk Management Certification Institute from PRMIA, The candidate should have been a Chief Risk Officer/Head of Risk. Management Department of the Bank/Financial Institution Desirable At least 2 years as a Cost and Management Accountant by the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts awarded by the CFA, designated as a Chartered Accountant by the Institute of the holder of the Charter, by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, or equivalent abroad designated as | Institute of Cost Accountants of India, or equivalent abroad.
• Essential Experience – Minimum of 20 years experience in Banking/Financial Sector of which at least five years experience in Corporate Credit and Risk Management (of which minimum one year experience, one year in Corporate Credit and Risk Management) level one OR Assistant General Manager or above in more than one public sector
• Private sector bank or vice-chairman and above/foreign bank, or regulated lending institution having similar roles and responsibilities in one or more.

• Group Chief Risk Officer to be responsible for the effectiveness of the overall risk Management across the Bank and its group entities
• Establish and maintain group-wide risk management. Framework, policies and exposure limits approved by The Board and the Board's Risk Management Committee.
• Monitoring, reviewing and approving activities prior to submission of recommendations of risk management departments to the respective risk management committees.
• Measure, control and manage various risks across the group, within the limits set by the Board.
• Ensure compliance with risk standards and prudential limits prescribed by the Board of Directors.
• Creating awareness about risks and related risk management activities.
• Facilitating the analysis of group risk and the inter-relationship of risk in parent banks and group entities.
