BSF Head Constable Group C Recruitment 2022 – Eligibilities –

For deputation from Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFS):-

(i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department-

(ii) With five years regular service in the grade of Head Constable in the Pay Scale of Pay Band-I: Rs.5200-20,200 plus Grade Pay. 2400/- (Pre-revised) and Revised Pay Level-4 in the Pay Matrix (Rs. 25,500-81,100) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department: and

(b) having the following professional and technical qualifications:-

(i) Three years Diploma in Auto Mobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Auto Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Government; OR Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the relevant trade

(ii) Basic Training including Map Reading Standard-I

(iii) Medical Category SHAPE-1

Armed forces personnel due to retire or to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having requisite experience will also be considered. Such persons shall be kept on deputation till the date from which they are due to be released from the Armed Forces: thereafter they may be continued on re-deputation:

(a) The applicant must satisfy the following criteria:

(i) Matriculation or 10th class pass from a recognized Board or Institute or equivalent; And

(i) Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the relevant trade; OR Three years' experience in the relevant trade and grade in the Armed Forces; And BSF Head Constable Group C Recruitment 2022

(iii) Medical Category SHAPE-1/equivalent in Armed Forces.
