Eligibility for Judicial Member of State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (State Commission):-

The minimum age of the applicant should be 40 years and maximum 65 years as on 1st April 2022. The Presiding Officer of a District Court or equivalent level in any other Tribunal or a minimum of 10 years' experience in the District Court and the Tribunal combined, but the number of such members to be appointed shall not exceed 2. Eligibility for District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (District Commission) Chairman:-

 The minimum age of the applicant should not be more than 65 years as on 1st April 2022. According  to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act 2019, the candidates who are the judges of the District Court or have lived or are eligible before, those candidates will be able to apply for the chairman of the District Commission. Eligibility for District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (District Commission) Member:-

Age Limit: - The minimum age of the applicant should be 35 years and maximum 65 years as on 1st April 2022.

Educational Qualification- Applicant's educational qualification should be at least Graduation degree from any recognized university and Be a person of integrity, ability, and standing with at least 15 years of specialized knowledge in consumer affairs, law, public affairs, commerce, management, administration, economics, engineering, public health, technology, industry, finance, or pharmaceutical departments Must have experience.Apart from this, for detailed information related to tenure and educational qualification, must read the official notification.
