The state government, which is continuously opening new government colleges in Haryana, will now also remove the shortage of staff. According to the workload in the colleges in the academic session, 2528 new posts of Assistant Professors have been created.

The Finance Department has already given green signal to the recruitment of Assistant Professors. After the Governor's seal on the recruitment of new posts of Assistant Professor, the Higher Education Department has released the list of posts created according to the number of students in colleges of all the districts. These assistant professors will teach 33 subjects.

This will be the biggest ever recruitment of Assistant Professors. There are total 171 government colleges in Haryana in which more than two lakh students are taking education. Presently 4975 posts of Assistant Professors were sanctioned for these colleges.

 
By sanctioning 2528 new posts, not only the shortage of staff will be removed but the standard of education will also improve. Soon the recruitment of Assistant Professors will be done through Haryana Public Service Commission.

Education Minister Kanwar Pal Gurjar said that the recruitment process for 1922 Assistant Professor posts would be started soon to overcome the shortage of teachers in colleges. For this the recommendation has been sent to the Haryana Public Service Commission. After this recruitment, two thousand assistant professors will be recruited in the second phase.

Land is not available for construction of 22 colleges

The construction work of 24 colleges out of 68 newly opened colleges in Haryana has been completed. The construction work of the building of 24 colleges is going on, which will be completed soon. However, land has not yet been made available for the building of 22 colleges.

In order to provide land to these colleges, the officers of the Higher Education Department will hold a meeting with the Director of Panchayat and Development Department and the Deputy Commissioners of the concerned district, so that the issue of land can be resolved soon.
