Subjects for AP SI Prelims Exam (Degree Standard)
Paper 1: Arithmetic & Reasoning or Mental Ability
Arithmetic: It will include questions on problems relating to the simple interest, number system, compound interest, percentage, ratio & proportion average, profit & loss, time & work, work & wages, time & distance, partnership, clocks & calendars, menstruation, etc.
Test of Reasoning: It will include questions of both non-verbal & verbal types and include questions on analogies, similarities, and differences, analysis, spatial visualization spatial orientation problem solving, judgment decision-making, visual memory, etc
Paper 2: General Studies (Degree Standard)
General Science – contemporary developments in science & technology and their implications including matters of everyday observation or experience, and contemporary issues relating to the protection of the environment as may be probable of a well-educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific discipline.
Current events of international and national importance
History of India – emphasis will be on a broad general understanding of the subject in its social, cultural, economic, and political aspects Indian National Movement.
Geography of India

Subjects For AP SI Mains Exam (Degree Standard)
Paper 1: ENGLISH (DEGREE STANDARD)
