The age limit of the applicants for the post of AFCAT has been kept from 20 years to 24 years. The age limit has been kept from 20 years to 26 years for Ground Duty Technical and Non Technical candidates.

Flying Branch – The qualification of the applicant for this post is 10th 12th pass and 50% marks in Mathematics and Physics is mandatory. Air Force AFCAT Recruitment 2022

Candidates must have completed B.Tech, BE degree with minimum 60% marks from any recognized institute or university.

AFCAT Exam Pattern 2023

The exam pattern for each of the stages is given below.

1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect/wrong answer.

For each correct answer, 3 marks will be allowed.

No deduction of marks will be done for un-attempted questions.

Qualified Candidates of AFCAT will appear for the next round that is AFSB (Air Force Selection Board) Testing.

Stage I is a screening test. It includes the Officer Intelligence rating Test and Picture Perception and Discussion Test.

The candidates who qualify Stage I Test are eligible to undergo Stage II.

Stage II Test is conducted for five days. It includes Psychological Tests, Group Tests (Indoor and outdoor activities), Interview, CPSS (Computerised Pilot Selection System) test.

If you are recommended by the Selection Board, you will have a medical examination.

And the final merit list will be released.

Air Force AFCAT Recruitment2022: Written Test 2022-23 –

The exam for Shift I will start from 8:00 AM and for Shift II exam will start from 12:30 PM. It is very important for the candidates to have the admit card at the examination center and the candidates will have to reach the examination center within the proper time interval given in the notification.

Syllabus. Subjects, time allowed and maximum marks allotted to each subject will be as under:

Three marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

English,	(aa) English. Comprehension, Error Detection, Sentence Completion/ Filling in of correct word, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary, Idioms and Phrases.
General Awareness,	History, Geography, Civics, Politics, Current Affairs, Environment, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Sports, etc.
Numerical Ability,	Decimal Fraction, Time and Work, Average, Profit & Loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple Interest, Time & Distance (Trains/Boats & Streams).
