Ground Duty (Technical) – The qualification of the applicant for the post of Ground Duty Technical should be 10th 12th pass and the candidate should have 60% marks in Physics and Mathematics subject, minimum 4 years graduate or integrated PG degree in engineering or competitive.

The exam pattern for each of the stages is given below.
1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect/wrong answer.
For each correct answer, 3 marks will be allowed.
No deduction of marks will be done for un-attempted questions.

Qualified Candidates of AFCAT will appear for the next round that is AFSB (Air Force Selection Board) Testing.
Stage I is a screening test. It includes the Officer Intelligence rating Test and Picture Perception and Discussion Test.
The candidates who qualify Stage I Test are eligible to undergo Stage II.
Stage II Test is conducted for five days. It includes Psychological Tests, Group Tests (Indoor and outdoor activities), Interview, CPSS (Computerised Pilot Selection System) test.
If you are recommended by the Selection Board, you will have a medical examination.
And the final merit list will be released.
The exam for Shift I will start from 8:00 AM and for Shift II exam will start from 12:30 PM. It is very important for the candidates to have the admit card at the examination center and the candidates will have to reach the examination center within the proper time interval given in the notification.
